What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. We also use similar browser storage, such as local storage, to remember choices or continue an AI-assistant conversation. Some technologies are required for the site to work; others are optional and load only after you accept them.
Technologies we use
| Category | Purpose and examples | Choice |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Laravel session and security tokens, form protection, quote-list state and your cookie preference. | Always active |
| Functional | A browser identifier such as wm-agent-visitor helps continue the AI-assistant journey. | Used for requested features |
| Analytics | Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager may measure visits, navigation and site performance when configured. | Optional |
| Advertising | Meta Pixel may help measure campaigns and advertising effectiveness when configured. | Optional |
| Embedded services | Google Maps on the Contact page may receive device and usage information when the map loads. | Third-party service |
Manage your choices
You can accept all cookies or keep only necessary technologies from the consent panel. Change your choice at any time:
You may also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary storage can prevent forms, saved selections or other site features from working correctly. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not standardized; where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals for applicable processing.
Third parties and retention
Google, Meta and embedded-service providers set their own retention periods and process data under their policies. White Matte’s first-party browser storage remains only as long as needed for security, site operation, saved selections, consent choices and the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update this policy when the technologies or providers used by the site change.
